What's your queer story?

The What's your queer story? project was launched in June 2018. Visitors to events at the Tate Modern and Science Museum were invited to fill in paper slips with a handwritten memory of their LGBTQ+ experience, which they then posted into a 'Queer Memory Box'. The selection below is shared anonymously with permission of the contributors, and more are being added regularly on Instagram. Based on geographical relevance the original paper slips will be donated to the local borough archives around London. It is planned to collect stories at further events and expand the project to allow contributions via other interested organisations and online (please get in touch if you would like to be involved).
